A prolonged summer for Malta! Temperates with real feel of 34 degrees expected this week
Central and northern Europe are experiencing their first wave of cold temperatures but not Malta!

It looks like autumn will be skipping Malta altogether as high temperatures and summery weather are set to persist throughout this week and possibly next week!

According to the Facebook page it-Temp Madwarna, summer weather will persist and dominate even in the next week in which we will also notice some thin high clouds, an increase in temperatures, and also an increase in wind and even a hazy sky due to the presence of sand from the desert.

In fact, according to another Facebook page, Maltese Islands Weather, this week, temperatures will rise to a real feel of 34°C on both Wednesday and Thursday.

However, it also looks like the wind is going to pick up towards the end of the week, with Thursday 19th showing at Force 6-7 in the evening continuing to Saturday 21st.

And while it looks like central and northern Europe are experiencing their first wave of cold temperatures with mountainous areas getting their first snow of the season, this does not seem to be happening anytime soon in Malta.

After all, the Maltese proverb does state that ‘Sal-Milied la bard u l-anqas ksieħ’ meaning that we won’t be getting any cold weather before Christmastime!

Are you hoping that the weather will cool down soon?
