Infrastructure Malta have taken to social media to announce that they will be turning the Il-Kunsill Tal-Ewropa Road footpath into a green area.

They are planning to plant a total of 145 trees and 1500 shrubs at this new shared mobility footpath, that accommodates pedestrians and bike riders.  

The footpath is located right between Fgura, Zabbar and Cospicua.

Apart from a number of trees and shrubs, the project also includes the installation of a reservoir and an irrigation system to continuously water the plants and trees.
