Malta’s mention on the list comes as no surprise.

The prestigious ‘Condé Nast Traveller’ magazine and digital portal has named Malta as one of its top destinations to visit in October for those who wish for hot climate during the autumn months.

Condé Nast listed a total of 15 cities all across the world where one can visit to enjoy the sunny skies even when winter is nearing by.

It comes as no surprise that Malta’s capital city was amongst the list when it averages a temperature of 25°C during the month of October.

“Sitting in the Med between Sicily and the Tunisian coast, Malta is blessed with an outrageously sunny climate (even in December, you’ll see more than five hours of sunshine a day)”, the portal stated.

“Its capital, Valletta, is a delight: honey-coloured forts and cobbled streets, sun-dappled squares and back-alley wine bars, churches hung with Caravaggio originals and a budding crop of high-design hotels”, it continued.

“All that, and it’s on the water. Speaking of which, make time to explore outside the city walls, where you’ll find sandy beaches, quaint fishing villages and true-blue lagoons to laze around. Take our advice: go slow”.

Other destinations on the list included Bali in Indonesia, Beirut in Lebanon and Costa Brava in Spain, amongst many others.
