A cold weekend up ahead for Malta! Thunderstorms and temperatures with a real feel of 7°C predicted
Strong winds are being forecast for Sunday.
After experiencing a period of sunny days, this is all expected to change this weekend as low temperatures and isolated thunderstorms are predicted.
According to ‘Maltese Islands Weather’, “isolated showers possibly thundery at times”, are expected for today 15th December, 2023.
This will continue on Saturday, 16th December and Sunday, 17th December as the weather page is forecasting isolated thunderstorms. Temperatures on both days are also predicting to have a minimum of a 7°C real feel.
The wind force will go as high as force six on Sunday.
Such weather will slowly start to calm down by Monday, 18th December as there is only a chance of a light rain. Temperatures on the day will reach a real feel as low as 9°C. Nonetheless, thundery showers are expected once again on Wednesday, 20th December.
The meteorological office at the Malta International Airport is forecasting a similar report but is not predicting thundery showers for Saturday.

They are also expecting cold weather but are only predicting temperatures to reach as low as 12°C on the weekend.
