Dimitar Berbatov, a now retired football player mostly known for being regarded as the best Bulgarian footballer to ever exist and being a Manchester United legend has been spotted in Malta.

Yesterday, he visited the Gozo United football club where he got a chance to have a meet and greet with all his fans.

Together with Sam Homewood, a Manchester United presenter, Dimitar was also seen riding bikes along the salt pans at Xwejni.

He was also spotted relaxing with his feet up in a boat cruising around Malta’s crystal-clear waters where it looked like he might have been filming some kind of feature on the islands for ‘Visit Malta’.

Dimitar is also set to do another meet and greet at Msida’s Manchester United Club in Malta tomorrow, 4th November.
