19-year-old Maltese-Aussie Samuel Bartolo tragically killed in head-on collision in Sydney

Samuel Bartolo, a 19-year-old Maltese-Aussie tragically passed away in a traffic accident in Sydney. Bartolo collided head-on with a truck in Berkshire Park. According to reports, the 19-year-old died at the scene. No one else was in the car with him at the time and the truck driver was uninjured.

As news spread of his passing, many took to social media to share tributes to the young soul. “Rest in peace Samuel Bartolo,” says Johno Farrugia. “You were like the little brother I never had. Taken away from us way too soon!”

“My cousins in Australia are devastated right now with our sad news of my cousin Grace and Ben Bartolo’s son Samuel… May you rest in peace,” a close family member wrote.

“Rest in peace my nephew Samuel Bartolo,” his aunt shared on Facebook. “You will always be in my heart and mind. You will be missed.”

The shooting club that Samuel attended in Sydney also paid respects. “Samuel has been a part of the shooting family since a very young age and has grown up with us all,” they shared. “Those of you who were lucky to know Samuel, never seen him without a smile on his face – especially when with his beautiful family. We will miss his cheeky spirit beyond words.”
