Fireworks of a whopping 11 different colours were used in the celebrations

Last Saturday, the St Andrew Fireworks Factory managed to break the national record of the largest variety of coloured fireworks, lighting the skies above admiring crowds at St Andrew’s Feast in Luqa.

There was a total of 11 colours of fireworks split into three categories, each containing three types of sounds. The colours that filled the air included white, titanium, green, yellow, red, lime, peach, turquoise, lilac, orange and blue.

Did you see the colours filling the sky over Luqa?
