These series of photos uploaded by the Facebook page ‘Malta Doors’, perhaps show the most splendid staircase Malta has ever seen.
The staircase is found in the ‘Istituto Tecnico’ building in the town of Santa Venera.
#maltadoors goes indoors . . I'm taking things a step further… and heading indoors! 😍 this is possibly one of the most...

It is a staircase that is truly unique and completely one of a kind. It was hand painted by Paul Galea, an artist from Rabat with decorative foliage and floral motifs straight out of the art nouveau style.
The house was built by Marquis Vincenzo Bugeja in 1903 to house orphaned children while they received training in industrial crafts.
The building was awarded as Grade 2 national monument in 2008 so the heritage behind this house can forever be preserved.
Some parts of the building, specifically the museum and library area are now being used as the quarters for the social care standards authority.
