Well done! Maltese rising star joins London’s West End cast of Mamma Mia

Exciting news for Maltese talent as Franky Attard has just announced that she has secured a role in ‘Mamma Mia! The Musical’ in London’s renowned West End. This major achievement comes less than a year after Franky graduated from Laine Performers College, marking a rapid rise in her career.

Franky has joined the cast in an ensemble role and will also serve as an understudy for the character ‘Ali’, one of Sophie’s close friends in the hit musical.

Sharing her excitement, Franky wrote on Instagram:

‘The girl from the little island is heading to THE little island! I am absolutely over the moon to be making my West End and Swing Debut in Mamma Aia Musical!! The biggest heartfelt thank you to everyone who has helped me along this journey, and to my amazing agents. I am so excited for the year ahead! Nannu Frank, we did this together!’

This is a monumental moment for Franky, as she proudly represents Malta on one of the world’s most prestigious stages. Her talent and hard work have earned her a place among some of the best performers in the industry.
