Maltese sprinter, Luca Gerada, has reached a remarkable milestone by securing 3rd place and a bronze medal in the 200m race at the FISEC Games held in Bucharest, Romania.

By setting a new personal best, Luca's performance proves his relentless effort and commitment.

This accomplishment underscores the rising talent within Maltese athletics, as Luca's exceptional performance shines on an international stage.

Over the weekend, athletes Luca Gerada, Nick Bonett, Lyon Falzon and Zach Mansaray won the gold in the 4x100m relay at the same games. The team also set a new U18 national record with a time of 43.91 seconds.

Congratulations, Luca! A huge well-done goes to the entire Malta team!
