Well done! Gina McNamara breaks Malta’s 800m indoor record during a Boston competition

At just 20 years old, the runner Gina McNamara has broken Malta’s national record for the women’s 800 metres indoor.

She impressively broke the record while running at the Bruce Lehane Scarlet & White Invitational Indoor Meet, in Boston, USA.

The record was previously held by former national athlete Tanya Blake. 

During the race in Boston, Gina finished 5th after running the 800 metres with an impressive time of two minutes and six seconds.
