If you've ever wondered what happens when pixels go on a picnic, Elisa von Brockdorff's latest solo exhibition, 'Pixels on a Picnic', is your answer. Opening on Friday 7th February at The Splendid in Valletta, this imaginative display explores the playful intersection of light, form, and photography.
Renowned for her creative approach, Elisa experiments with props, analogue filters, and other tools to craft abstract compositions where light takes centre stage. In this series, backgrounds transform into key elements of the artwork, while objects serve as conduits for beams of light, creating visuals that are as thought-provoking as they are beautiful.
Curated by Melanie Erixon, 'Pixels on a Picnic' is an invitation to slow down, look closer, and reconnect with the curiosity and wonder of your inner child. The collection will be on display until 27th February at The Splendid, offering a feast for the senses that you won’t want to miss!
