Thursday 23rd July: Malta registers 1 new case & 0 recoveries of COVID-19

According to the figures published by the Health Authority’s Facebook page, Sahha, Malta has registered one new case of COVID-19 after 1,114 swabs were done in the past 24 hours.

The post also noted that, “Today's positive case is local, sporadic and symptomatic.” The islands haven’t registered any new recoveries in the past 24 hours, which means the total recovery tally remains at 665 and the number of active cases is up to six. Since the outbreak, Malta has recorded 680 cases and has performed a 116,909 swab tests.
