Throwback to 1971! Building anticipation for the Malta vs. England game

The anticipation is kicking in with only one week to go for the Malta vs. England match that will be held this Friday 14th June.
To commemorate this event, the Department of Information in Malta took to social media to post a throwback video of a similar game that took place way back in 1971. The video takes us back to a Malta vs. England football match that took place on the 3rd of February 1971 was held in Gzira at the Empire Stadium.
The game was part of the Europa Cup qualifications of 1972. England won this particular game with a score of 1-0.
The DOI posted this video with the aim of creating hype before the big game this Friday!
