That's how Gozo rolls! Record-breaking strawberry roly-poly steals the show
It all happened this weekend at the Qalb il-Frawli festival

A delicious new national record has just been set in Malta! An enormous strawberry roly-poly measuring a whopping 8.07 metres has officially entered the record books, as confirmed by The Malta Records.

The record-breaking dessert is a centrepiece of the Qalb il-Frawli festival, which was held in the square in front of the Nadur church in Gozo. Visitors could admire (and taste!) the giant celebration of the season’s favourite fruit.

The Malta Records shared the exciting news on Facebook, extending their congratulations to all those involved: the Decorative Association of Nadur, the Saint Peter and Saint Paul Firework Association of Nadur, Dolci Creazioni from Santa Venera, and the Directorate of Cultural Heritage within the Ministry of Gozo.

Did you attend Gozo’s strawberry festival this year?
