Take note! St. Patrick’s Day road closures and bus diversions announced for today
Festivities will be starting from 1pm today

As St Julian’s is ramping up for a vibrant and lively St. Patrick’s Day celebration, the streets will be packed with revellers, bars will be buzzing, and the air will be filled with excitement.

Starting from 1pm, it’s going to be one of the biggest parties of the year. However, with the festivities come some important changes to local transport, so plan accordingly.

Important Bus Route Diversions:

  • Routes TD3 & TD2 will avoid Spinola and St. George’s Bay, instead taking detours through Pender Gardens and Regional Road.
  • Routes 121 & TD13 will bypass Spinola entirely and head straight towards Regional Road.
  • Several other routes (13, 16, 202, 212, 222, 225, 233, N13) will also follow alternative paths through Pender Gardens and Reggie Miller Street.
  • Route X2 and 120 will take diversions via Regional Road and Paceville, missing key stops like Ross, Olivier, and Balluta.
  • Route 14 will be rerouted via Manwel Dimech Street and Reggie Miller, impacting areas like Sliema, Chalet, Torri, and Balluta.

With thousands expected to flood the area, allow extra time for travel, and be sure to check your route before you leave.

If you're planning to drive, expect heavy traffic and limited parking spots around the town. Most importantly, remember to drink responsibly and enjoy the celebrations safely.

Will you be part of the St. Patrick’s Day madness in St. Julian’s?
