Strong wind warning issued! Powerful winds expected to hit Malta & Gozo TOMORROW
The strong winds will subside by Saturday afternoon.

Multiple Maltese weather pages have issued warnings stating that strong winds with high forces are to be expected tomorrow, Friday, 16th November 2023.

‘Aggornament ta’ Temp’ have stated that the wind will reach Force seven from 9pm tomorrow and this will persist until 11am Saturday, 17th November 2023. This is however expected to subside by Saturday afternoon.

‘Maltese Islands Weather’ are predicting Force seven to eight winds that will also continue until Saturday morning. They’re even saying that there might be the possibility of rain on Saturday.

The meteorological office at the Malta International airport is forecasting Force six winds for Friday evening and Saturday morning.

Temperatures will continue to drop in the coming days. ‘Temp Madwarna’ is anticipating temperatures to drop significantly by 5°C by the end of the week.

Neither the Gozo Channel ferry nor the Gozo Highspeed fast ferry have issued any statements as to weather they will be cancelling any of their services on Friday or Saturday but it is advised to keep an eye out just in case.
