Step into history! Tax-Xierfa Agricultural Museum in Rabat opens its doors this Sunday
From ancient wine-making to historic burials!

If you’re harbouring curiosity on Malta’s ancient practices of agriculture, and all things related, Rabat is the place to head to this weekend. The brand new ‘Tax-Xierfa’ Museum of Agriculture will be opening its doors to the public for the first time on Sunday 19th January!

Located on Triq Santa Katerina, the museum will serve as a guide into Malta’s ancient antiques and secret histories, shedding light on how Malta’s ancestors would live their day-to-day lives – from burying their loved ones to making wine.

After its official opening on the 19th of January, Tax-Xierfa Agricultural Museum will be open on the following days:

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Wednesday: Closed

Saturday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Sunday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
