Located in the scenic landscape of Malta, Ghajn Tuffieha Camp stands as a reinder to the island's rich military heritage.

Established in 1899 as a Royal Marine Training Centre under Admiralty control, the camp's history is etched into the very ground with boundary stones that have withstood the test of time.

Over the years, Ghajn Tuffieha Camp evolved to meet the needs of the British military. It was equipped with essential features such as a rifle range for training exercises, barracks to house personnel, and a military chapel that still survives today, offering a glimpse into the past.

During World War I, the camp took on a new role, serving as a convalescence hospital for troops returning from the gruelling Gallipoli campaign. This period saw the camp transform into a place of healing and recovery, providing care for soldiers in need. Even after the war, Ghajn Tuffieha remained an active military hub, continuing to train forces until the 1960s.

Today, the camp stands as a fascinating historical site, inviting visitors to explore its storied past. Whether walking among the remnants of its military structures or discovering the historical boundary stones, Ghajn Tuffieha Camp offers a unique journey through time.
