In a remarkable celebration of bold imagery and vibrant colours, the upcoming exhibition "Shrine: Finding Solace in the Chaos of Life" promises to captivate art enthusiasts and challenge conventional perceptions.

This debut solo exhibition by Alexandra Aquilina, curated by the visionary Lisa Gwen, is set to take place at the prestigious MUŻA, National Museum of Art, from July 7th to August 13th, 2023.

For this exhibition, the artist draws inspiration from a multitude of sources, including history, folklore, and international mass media. Through her art, she seeks to push boundaries and question the established norms of both the art world and the world we inhabit.

With "Shrine," Alexandra aims to create an oasis of solace amidst the chaos of life, inviting viewers to explore a transformative journey.

The exhibition tackles grandiose themes of life, spirituality, and mortality, resulting in art that is both intimate and raw, disjointed but coherent.

Through this fusion, Aquilina challenges viewers to reconsider their preconceived notions, urging them to explore the interplay between tradition and modernity.

For art enthusiasts and curious minds alike, "Shrine" promises to be an unmissable event. From July 7th to August 13th, 2023, MUŻA, National Museum of Art in Valletta, will be the stage for Aquilina's awe-inspiring creations.

Find solace in the chaos of life!
