Scorching heat! Extreme heat anticyclone moving over to Malta to persist for the next 2 weeks
Get your sun blocks out.

Emma Galea

North African countries such as Morocco and Algeria are currently experiencing an anticyclone which is resulting in sky-rocketing temperatures.

The anticyclone is moving over to other parts of southern Europe and is hitting Malta. This will cause extreme heat over the coming two weeks..

This weekend, Malta will be experiencing higher temperatures than the average ones usually experienced in July.

The temperatures will reach a whopping high of 35°C over the next few days but they will unfortunately have a real feel of 38°C.

Make sure to stay away from sitting directly in the sun and to use your sun block to avoid any annoying skin burns. A dip in the sea is probably your best bet to cool down in such scorching heat!
