Malta might be experiencing its first rain sooner rather than later.

To the pleasure of many autumn lovers, the local weather page, ‘Maltese Islands Weather’ is predicting that Malta and are Gozo are set to experience their first Autumn rain in a few weeks.

The first period of autumnal instability across the Mediterranean is set to arrive in less than a month, between the 6th and 13th September.

It is quite early to see exactly how such instability will affect the Maltese islands but rain during the second week of September is highly probable.

Nonetheless, rain can still arrive even earlier than then…

“Isolated showers across central localities due to daytime heating under an unstable atmosphere are not included in this and may happen in the summer like in past years”, the page explained.

Do your prefer the cloudy and rainy weather or sunny skies?
