Get ready for a night of chaos and laughs this March as MADC brings 'The Coarse Acting Show' by Michael Green to the stage at both Teatru Salesjan in Sliema and Teatru Manoel in Valletta.

This comedy is packed with six short plays that dive into all the mishaps that can happen when things go terribly wrong on stage. We're talking collapsing sets, forgotten lines, misplaced props, and actors scrambling to save their dignity while everything falls apart around them. It’s a hilarious mess!

Directed by Stephen Oliver, the cast is full of comedy talent, including Alan Paris, Andrea Pace, Brendon Thearle, Craig Abela, Edward Caruana Galizia, Edward Thorpe, Francesca Briffa, Franco Sciberras, Jacob Falzon, Kate De Cesare, Leah Grech, Kim Dalli, Richard Godden, and Shaun Rizzo.

The six plays on offer are full of comedy gold. There's 'Streuth', a murder mystery gone hilariously wrong, 'A Collier’s Tuesday Tea', a Northern drama derailed by some dodgy accents, and 'All’s Well That Ends As You Like It', a Shakespearean disaster. 'The Cherry Sisters' features a Chekhov-style performance that’s almost moving… if only it weren’t for a faulty prop. And then there's 'Last Call for Breakfast', an absurd short play that gets even shorter when one actor gets stuck in a blackout. The night wraps up with 'Julius and Cleopatra', where an epic chariot race is just one of the many disasters to unfold.

Catch the show at Teatru Salesjan on 14th, 15th, and 16th March, and at Teatru Manoel on 21st, 22nd, and 23rd March, all starting at 7.30 PM.
