Wow! Photo taken 70 years ago today shows Malta celebrating the 50th anniversary since the inception of the Ford Motor Company
In an old photo shared by the Malta’s National Archives, one can see people celebrating as part of the 50th anniversary of Henry Ford founding the Ford Motor Company.
The shot was captured, exactly 70 years ago today, on the 16th June, 1953.
Henry Ford, in fact, founded the company, exactly 120 years ago today in in Dearborn, Michigan, a suburb of Detroit.
The photo was taken in front of the Haz-Zabbar church as once can see a large Ford truck parading through the main street as it carries a classic Ford car.
This was part of the many celebrations going on in Malta during the day.
