Are you looking for a historically unique experience? Look no further than the historic Mitħna tax-Xarolla in Żurrieq.

Apart from being open to the public every Sunday, the Department of Information just announced that there will be an open day and an exclusive exhibition on the 4th and 5th of November and the 11th and 12th of November from 9 am to 6 pm.

Built-in 1724, this architectural gem is one of five windmills commissioned by the Grand Master Vilhena, providing a glimpse into Malta's rich history.

For those seeking a cultural journey that should not be missed, the Mitħna tax-Xarolla offers a captivating exhibition of objects and chambers that were once an integral part of daily life some three hundred years ago.

Get ready to find out more about the history of this cultural heritage, and the history of the windmills in Malta and see the works carried out by the Public Works Department.
