Oh sweet chocolate! This cafe’s twist on Malta's traditional figolla recipe will have you drooling
Easter is just a month away, so perfect timing!

It’s Friday and we’re getting a little peckish for some sweet treats and this local cafe just hit the spot and made us drool. HARD. Chocolate District in Valletta has released their own original twist on Malta’s traditional Easter goodie, the figolla and we’re DECEASED.

“It is with great pleasure that we present you this year’s FIG-OLLA; our take on the traditional Maltese delicacy,” they shared on social media. “Made with a pure Fig Marzipan and enrobed with a generous coating of luscious Dark Chocolate.” We may or may not have just been turned on by a figolla...

Chocolate District’s figolli come in two sizes: medium, selling at €13 and large, selling at €20. You can pre-order yours by sending a message on their Facebook page or soon via their online shop.
