The founders, driven by their love for great food and aesthetics, transformed their dream into reality, creating a haven for brunch enthusiasts in the heart of Ta' Xbiex.

The Black Egg’s signature dish, the poached black egg, began as a spontaneous idea and became a symbol of the restaurant’s innovative approach. The dish, along with a carefully curated menu and chic ambiance, quickly made The Black Egg a beloved spot for both locals and visitors.

In an announcement on their Instagram page, the team shared their bittersweet news: ‘After many wonderful years serving you, our restaurant will be closing its doors as we transition to new ownership. We are grateful for your support and the memories we've shared. Thank you for being part of our journey.’

As The Black Egg closes this chapter, it leaves behind a legacy of culinary excellence and stylish dining, cherished by all who visited.
