Pilgrim’s Lodge, a new museum has just inaugurated in the heart of Mellieha.

It can be found in one of Mellieha’s oldest buildings, right next to the Mellieha Sanctuary.

In fact, the museum explores and details all there is to know about the history and happenings of the sanctuary.

All the objects on display showcase the lives and struggles of all those who travelled to the sanctuary seeking help from Our Lady of Mellieha. 

Apart from the opening of the museum, the inaguration marked the restoration of the building which had been deteriorating in the past years.
