Malta debut! 'Dear Evan Hansen' brings its award-winning musical magic to the Manoel Theatre this February
Young-adult themes bringing big emotions!

‘Have you ever felt like nobody was there?’ The haunting first line of ‘You Will Be Found’ resonates powerfully in one of the most beloved songs from the Tony Award-winning musical 'Dear Evan Hansen', which will make its debut in Malta at the Manoel Theatre next month.

The show will run over two weekends - February 7-9th and February 13-16th, with performances starting at 7.30 PM, and a matinee on Sunday 16th February, at 3.00 PM.

With young-adult themes that will undoubtedly resonate with older adults too, ‘Dear Evan Hansen’ tells the story of a teenage boy with social anxiety, whose method of coping lands him in a lie that spirals out of control. The musical has touched audiences worldwide, earning countless accolades, including 6 Tony Awards and a Grammy for Best Musical Theatre Album.

This production, a collaboration between FM Theatre Productions and Teatru Manoel, features a stellar cast, led by director Denise Mulholland and musical director Kris Spiteri. The role of Evan Hansen will be performed alternately by Kyle Mangani and Luigi Buhagiar, while Kristen Abela and Charlotte Formosa will share the role of Zoe Murphy. The ensemble includes Dorothy Bezzina, Nadine Farrugia, Raphael Pace, Thomas Camilleri, Jamie Cardona, and Carla Fenech. The set design was created by Matthew Cassar, with Dylan Odom overseeing the videography.

Tickets are selling fast, and can be purchased via the official website or by calling the Teatru Manoel Box Office at (+356) 21246389.
