This year's Valletta carnival is set to receive a touch of Hollywood glamour as Canadian American actor and comedian, Jim Carrey, joins the colourful festivities in a larger-than-life fashion.

DreamTeam Carnival Company, renowned for their awe-inspiring creations, teased their latest masterpiece, featuring Jim Carrey as a prominent character on one of their floats.

With excitement building up, the company took to Facebook to share a sneak peek of the final installation, exclaiming, "We welcome Mr. Jim Carrey on our float! We're getting closer... LET'S SMOKINNNN!"

This announcement comes hot on the heels of the revelation that American rapper Snoop Dogg will also be making a special appearance on another one of the company's floats.
