Calypso Diving Centre has just shared images of a beautiful turtle in Xwejni Bay, Gozo. However, the centre shared an important message.

“Unfortunately, this turtle seems to have ingested fishing line, so if you or your buddies come across it, please contact Nature Trust,” the diving centre wrote.

Commenting on the post, Nature Trust – FEE Malta – Gozo Section also urged the public, in case of spotting, to also contact the Wildlife Rescue Team Malta, as the turtle needs urgent veterinary care.

Wildlife Rescue Team Malta can be found on Facebook and contacted at 99999505.
