While shopping around Italy, chances are you might have come across the home store known as ‘Risparmio Casa’. Now that same store is opening in Malta.

According to the Italian newspaper, La Stampa the Italian home chain is opening a total of 10 outlets across Malta.

They are planning to open three of the 10 stores by 2024. The company then hopes to have opened all 10 outlets by the next five years.

Risparmio Casa is owned by the Battistelli brothers who have 150 stores in Italy and another one in Switzerland.

“Malta is nearby to our country and has important economic growth prospects that several international retailers have already intercepted”, one the co-founders stated.

“In the next five years over 150 people will join the Risparmio Casa team in Malta, a great added value for our Group, but also for the economic and social fabric of the island”, the other brother stated.

They sell all kinds of home goods and personal care products.
