ŻiguŻajg Festival returns to Valletta next month! Here are some of the shows to enjoy with the little ones
From dance to visual arts to interactive story telling!

Friday 15th November to Sunday 24th November will see the 14th edition of the annual ŻiguŻajg Arts Festival for Children and Young People lighting up Valletta, with artistic productions and installations created to inspire imagination and curiosity in young ones of all ages.

This year's edition of this vibrant festival will showcase a diverse range of performances, including theatre, dance, music, films, visual arts, and interactive installations, spread across various venues in Valletta. Here are just a few of the exciting productions you can look forward to!

luzAzul – An Opera for Babies (Age 0-2)

Dates: Saturday 16th & Sunday 17th November

An immersive opera designed especially for babies and their caregivers exploring the magic of symmetry, emotions, and connection through music, dance, and interactive elements.

Skydiver (Age 2-4)

Dates: Thursday 21st, Friday 22nd, Saturday 23rd & Sunday 24th November

A multi-sensory dance experience for families, soaring in the clouds among birds and butterflies!

Fetch! (Age 5-7)

Dates: Friday 22nd & Saturday 23rd November

A dog-training demonstration with a twist!

Princess Hemiola & the Enchanting Rhythms (Age 8-10)

Dates: Friday 15th, Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th November

Introducing children to music from Purcell, Handel and Bach through an exciting story, featuring a guitar and the flamenco rhythms it can bring to life!

But I See Beauty and Wonder (Age 7-13)

Dates: Saturday 9th, Saturday 16th & Saturday 23rd November

A series of workshops including talents from across the world, exploring various art forms such as photography and teaching children how to express themselves using art.

The Trial of Nina (Age 12+)

Dates: Friday 22nd & Saturday 23rd November

An immersive theatre experience inviting the audience to reflect on what ‘becoming a grown up’ means.

The festival promises not only to bring entertainment and education to the little ones, but also to the child within all of us too!
