ŻiguŻajg Festival returns to Valletta next month! Here are some of the shows to enjoy with the little ones
Friday 14th November to Sunday 23th November will see the 15th edition of the annual ŻiguŻajg Arts Festival for Children and Young People lighting up Valletta, with artistic productions and installations created to inspire imagination and curiosity in young ones of all ages.
This year's edition of this vibrant festival will showcase a diverse range of performances, including theatre, dance, music, films, visual arts, and interactive installations, spread across various venues in Valletta. Here are just a few of the exciting productions you can look forward to!
Dates: 15th, 16th, 22nd & 23rd November
An immersive journey inviting babies and toddlers on an adventure to discover the magic of colours through a giant, interactive book.
Dates: 16th, 20th & 23rd November
Guided by friendly theatre professionals, children will learn how scenery, props, make-up, costumes and space help shape a performance.
Dates: 14th & 15th November
A theatrical journey inspired by Jan Amos Comenius’s Orbis Pictus, offering an imaginative introduction to life on planet Earth.
Dates: 21st-23rd November
A vibrant Maltese-language production inspired by Immanuel Mifsud’s poetry collection Paramm Paramm.
Dates: 20th November
A multi-sensory exhibition inviting children to rediscover ancient storytelling through immersive pods themed around the elements: wind, fire, water, earth, and space.

An interactive clowning and dance-theatre piece following the journey of three clowns (Bach, Ronnie, and Captain Goosebump) as they break free from social expectations and rediscover their true selves.

A dynamic production that blends movement, poetry, and music in a lyrical reflection on the big questions facing today’s youth.
