Maltese athlete and boxer, Adam Laamouz has just made Malta very proud after winning a prestigious boxing title in Thailand.

For the first time in history, Adam became the first athlete from Malta to win the sought after Banga Title.

It is a very popular title that many fighters work hard for in Phuket, especially since Thailand is known for being the country of the ‘King of Muay Thai’, where a lot of high-level boxing takes place.

“It's a great stadium title to have and that night was just my night, my turn to bring it home”, Adam wrote on social media.

“This win meant so deeply to me personally! I worked very very hard for the fight. Preparing mentally and physically for it for 5 months”, he continued.

“These are all little steps towards greater things”.

Congratulations Adam!
