The pastoral centre dedicated to Our Lady of Sokkors in Kercem Gozo is soon debuting a stunning piece of mosaic depicting the Pentecost for all to appreciate and enjoy.

Right in the centre of the mosaic one can see the story of the Pentecost and the effects of this event on the first apostles.

In fact, on one side, you can also see that a mosaic of St Peter healing the sick is also being made while on the other side visitors will get the chance observe a mosaic of St Paul’s shipwreck right here in Malta.

The whole mosaic was the work of the Liturgical Art Centre Eikon who is under the direction of Father Roberto Gauci. The organisation has overseen many works of mosaic over the years, both in Malta and abroad
