Get ready for a weekend of huffing and puffing that just might blow you away! According to Malta Weather, “the latest weather models are predicting strong to gale force winds at times in Malta and Gozo”. Malta Weather has also issued a ‘gale watch’ warning on their website. This weather means business!

Our little rock is set to experience these strong winds from Saturday afternoon until next Tuesday, with waves peaking up to nine metres high! You might want to rethink that weekend trip to Gozo, unless you’re courageous enough to brave the mighty seas!

Despite the gusty wind, we should be experiencing relatively sunny weather throughout the weekend, with the occasional cloud popping up. Still, you may want to cuddle up indoors tonight, as thundery showers are forecast!

Always remember to stay safe when the elements get to tough!
