The announcement came after Deputy Prime Minister Ian Borg met with Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, Qatar’s Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, as the two nations gear up to celebrate 50 years of diplomatic relations this June.
With Hamad International Airport serving as Qatar Airways' hub, connecting to 197 destinations across five continents, this new route isn’t just a gateway to Qatar - it opens up the rest of the world too!
