Several local footballers have recently caught the attention of international teams
19-year-old footballer Kian Leonardi is set to make Malta proud after signing as a forward with Italy's Fermana Football Club. The club has welcomed their new addition with open arms, noting the 41 appearances, 7 goals and 5 assists that he’s collected in his career so far.
The promising footballer had his debut season in the Maltese Premier League with the Pieta Hotspurs, giving a performance that made him noticeable to other teams overseas.
Kian Leonardi already seems to have warmed up to his new club, having scored two goals in the friendly matches held since his signing – may his streak of success be a long one!
