Not quite the White Christmas, but definitely jacket, scarf and hat weather!

If were out and about last night, you’ll definitely have noticed that the winter chill is well and truly here. According to the weather page It-Temp Madwarna, temperatures in some valley areas dipped to a frosty 5.6°C! Meanwhile, rural spots hovered around a slightly warmer 8°C, and urban areas averaged a milder 10°C.

Maltese Islands Weather also reported a chilly minimum of 7°C for last night, and while a slight southeast wind shift may bring slightly warmer nights in the coming days, the chill is forecast to return by the weekend, with nighttime temperatures likely dropping below 10°C once again!

Are you bracing yourself for the cold, or enjoying Malta’s rare winter bite?
