Farewell Nina! Turtle released back into the wild after making a full recovery in Malta
This beautiful creature is thankfully safe and healthy once again.

Emma Galea

A previously adult female loggerhead turtle has just been released back into the wild at Gnejna Bay after making a full recovery!

Her rescuers cutely named her Nina.

She was rescued earlier this year from Maltese waters and spent some time receiving the best care possible at the Wildlife Rehab Centre.

Nina looked super cute as she made her way to the water from the sandy beach and happily returned to her habitat.
