Get ready for more travel options this year! Universal Air has announced an expansion to its European route network, introducing direct flights connecting Malta to Debrecen in Hungary, and Debrecen to Leipzig in Germany. Kicking off on 30th March, these year-round flights will run twice weekly - on Thursdays and Sundays.
The Malta–Debrecen–Leipzig route will be serviced by the De Havilland Canada Dash 8 aircraft, boasting 78 seats. The first flight to Debrecen will depart from Malta International Airport on 30th March, with tickets available now.
The new direct connection between Malta and Debrecen allows passengers to continue their journey on to Leipzig, offering more possibilities for exploration. Plus, Hungarian travellers located close to Debrecen now have the opportunity to fly directly to Malta and soak up its Mediterranean charm.
