The rooftop at the Catholic Institute has a captivating view that few have experienced. As the summer sun sets and the lightscape starts to build, it becomes a magical setting for all who come across it.
Join us for an intimate concert by the whimsical quartet Lumod who will be performing a set of their classical and contemporary repertoire on the building’s roof in a truly special setting.
Lumos use the nuance of their ensemble to retell the music they choose to perform. In a curated performance inspired by the starry summer sky, Hannah Theuma’s voice, Stephen Scerri on Violin, Laetitia Troisi De Menville on Harp and Michael Camilleri on percussion will serenade to a small intimate audience fragments of music from artists across time.
The Catholic Institute is going through a process of institutional renewal, being led by the office of the Archbishop’s Delegate for Culture, Mgr Claude Portelli. This rooftop series is just one of several initiatives that continue to build on the mission of this office, in the company of some of Malta’s most exciting, young and established talents.
