Il-Ħagar Museum is pleased to announce the start of a new season of public talks, beginning on Saturday, 5th of October. In the first talk, Professor Joseph Caruana from the University of Malta's Department of Physics and the Institute of Space Sciences and Astronomy, will explore the historical challenge of maritime navigation. He will share how, over the centuries, celestial knowledge helped powerful navies, expanded empires, and recorded incredible stories, drawing from mythology, science, and fascinating navigational tools. Admission is free.
