The Malta International Food Festival 

It's stretching even further - 5 days! A celebration of local & international culinary traditions, dining culture, innovation and artistry, the annual Malta International Food Festival beckons die-hard gourmands to savour international cuisines in every bite.

Malta’s old capital city Mdina will be hosting the 5th edition of the Malta International Food Festival between Wednesday 17th and Sunday 21st July 2019; 5 days of gastronomic alfresco eating and drinking, culture & history, as well as entertainment for everyone.

The festival has now gained traction in attracting local and international attention from thousands who have visited the festival to taste the food from many international cuisines. An average of 33,000 people attended the 2018 edition, with huge popularity ever increasing year after year among tourists. 

During this festival, patrons can indulge in freshly-prepared food. Desserts and surprises, together with live cooking shows and spectacles will complement the food areas. Visitors have the opportunity to get engaged with local and international brands and produce as various entities maximizes from such a platform in creating brand awareness, educate visitors and share the love through tasting, while being able to buy such products.

Patrons are entertained with live performances on 3 different stages offering the likes of Malta’s finest artists which shall complement to the atmosphere. Children will also have their share with activities and ongoing animation to their delight.
