Il-Qarċilla returns to Spazju Kreattiv from 6 to 13 February 2026, offering its unique mix of comedy, cheeky innuendo, and witty references to current local affairs while celebrating one of Malta’s oldest traditions. This contemporary take on a historic carnival custom brings a mock marriage contract to life through vivid characters, bold humour, and clever wordplay, all while highlighting the richness of the Maltese language and cultural identity.
Now in its 11th edition, Il-Qarċilla is a standout of the Carnival season and a lively celebration of Malta’s creative scene. Tickets are €18/€15.
