Etienne Farrell kickstarted 2025 with an exhibition at the Hilton Malta in St.Julians, that is all about traditions and superstitions.
This time, Farrell chose a different canvas, presenting ‘Għajnejk f’Għajni’ as a collection of unique statement costume jewellery pieces aimed at celebrating the wearer’s individuality. The work is themed around the idea of the Evil Eye and superstitions that they are deeply embedded within the Maltese culture. The title of the exhibition itself ‘Għajnejk f’Għajni’ is in fact a ‘polite’ statement used to reject curses in their face. The collection is made of playful wearable art pieces that feature traditional superstitious amulets and symbols.
Meet the artist:Sunday 2nd February & Sunday 9th February between 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM
