Gozo's IL-Ħaġar Museum is once again hosting the Pawlu Mizzi Memorial Lecture, which this year is in its third edition. Happening this Saturday, 16th November at 11:00am, it will be delivered by Dr Mark Sagona, Head of the Department of Art and History at the University of Malta. The lecture focuses on one of the most remarkably rich episodes in the extraordinary and profuse story of the decorative arts in Malta: the years straddling the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries and discusses the prevalence of Eclecticism and Baroque Revival currents during the height of British colonial domination.Due to the popularity of public talks at Il-Ħaġar, seat reservations are encouraged by sending an email. Admission is free.
