Friends of the Earth Malta is organising its first Environmental Film Festival—Ċine'Ambjent 2019 in Floriana.
Ċine’Ambjent is a non-profit film festival providing local communities with a wide range of new and thought-provoking environmental films over a 2-day program. The film festival will be showcasing short films from around the globe dealing with climate change, agriculture, plastic pollution, global inequalities, resilience and relationships people cultivate with the natural landscape.
Saturday 25th May 2019
7.30pm - Doors Open
8.00pm - Environmental poetry reading
8.30-11pm - Screening of a selection of short films
11pm till late - After-film party by Kinemastik
Sunday 26th May 2019
4pm - 6pm - Environmental League of Little Rock People! (film screening and hands-on activity for kids and families)
8pm to 11pm - Screening of a selection of short films
