The Marija Bambina feast celebrated on September 8th, holds a special place in the hearts of the Naxxar community, as it honours the Nativity of the Virgin Mary. The town spared no expense in making this year's celebration unforgettable.

As darkness descended, families and friends gathered at the town square, eagerly anticipating the fireworks by the Victoria Band Club. A hush fell over the crowd as the first burst of colour illuminated the town through land-mechanised fireworks. What followed was a mesmerising symphony of lights and colours.

Yesterday's fireworks display by the Victoria Band Club - Naxxar. A fantastic display indeed. Well done to all involved!!!

Despite a few raindrops and gusts of wind attempting to steal the show, the resilient pyrotechnicians ensured that Naxxar was a canvas of enchantment.

Will you be attending any feasts tomorrow?
