Could KEBAB PIZZA be the latest fad? Turkish restaurant brings Swedish favourite to Malta
It’s the most popular pizza topping in Sweden.

Nope, we hadn’t heard of it either, but kebab pizza – that is, a pizza topped with kebab meat – is big news in Sweden, and now, thanks to local Turkish restaurant Sultan, it has reached Malta too!

According to Swedish news site The Local, the kebab pizza (which is typically topped with tomato sauce, cheese, onion, peppers, kebab meat and kebab sauce) is a favourite among Swedes, topping pizza delivery company Online Pizza's poll for years.

And while it might be a horrifying fusion Turkish or Italian cuisine purists, we can’t help our morbid curiosity. Could it – does it – work?
